| The music community recently turned its collective head, when Margo Timmins, a long established chanteuse who had chummed around with the likes of Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt and John Prine asked Karin to be her first ever back-up singer. Karin (and Linford) went on to record with the group as well as looking for trouble as Junkies as far away as New Zealand, where Margo pulled another rabbit out of her hat one evening saying, "Karin and Linford, meet Elvis Costello."
It's been a full life playing in two bands, but look for more from this smalltown girl, with her Swedish roots and dressing gowns and combat boots. One day maybe we'll even get a solo album out of her. |
