Gallery Stage, Cornerstone Festival, IL



I know people HeRe like accuracy...
I actually think they hit the stage after Midnight? so wouldn't that be offically 7/4/2008?

so here is my question on the 1st pic I took of OTR my camera says - 7/3/2008 / 12:04:18 so is my camera set wrong.. wouldn't / shouldn't it say 7/4/2008

I am confused... either way Karen said she would prefer an earlier start time next Cornerstone, like 11:00 p.m.
I agree, unless it means cutting a great set from a previous band short.

p.s. out of all the set list I have ever seen OTR's are the CooLeST LooKiNG oNeS

there are some videos up @ Cornerstone 2008, scroll down you'll see OtR (born) and possibly some other names there you'll recognize (sixpence, etc).

I would have loved to see this lineup:

I missed Cornerstone this year. I really hope a recording of this show eventually surfaces. I'd love to hear Kenny Hutson playing with them.

I was there and it was a great show. It was kind of funny because DaLe and I were both up at the stage after the show doing some set list hunting. We both had our eye on one and some guy on stage walked by and picked it up. Juicy let me take his off the sound board. ( Thanks Juicy) I did record the audio, but it didn't turn out very well. The vocals tend to get really muddy(on the recording) , . I think they had the sound a little louder than normal this year at the gallery tent. I did get a few good pics that I will post at some point.

you don't happen to have a set list for the Sixpence show do you?

The OTR Gallery set wasn't as awesome as I'd hoped it would be - it was largely the same as a recent 4-piece show I saw in Atlanta. When Kenny stepped to the forefront and they rocked things up a bit more ("Miss Ohio," "My City Was Gone," "Changes Come," etc.), that was when I was most into the show. As an old VOL fan, seeing Kenny and Jake trading guitar riffs on the Pretenders cover was pretty awesome.

I liked the Mainstage performance better, actually. It was just really cool seeing them in that sort of setting - big crowd, candles lit all over the place, etc. I bet they won some new fans that night.
