yes, it does stream live. and is archived on the woodsongs site too.

the even better news (for me & stiv anyway, since we will be there), they do another 45+ minutes for the live audience after the broadcast is completed.

it runs on KET (PBS) here a week or so after the webcast, i'll tape it and hopefully keith or shawn (or some other willing and generous techno-music-geek wink.gif )will be willing to convert it to DVD as they have in the past.

It will be a nice ending to a REALLY long week for me.

Don't they put the encores up for download on the site too, I've watched the episodes from the past and it seem the encores are there, even though they mention its not on broadcast... so I'm looking forward to seeing this on the day its recorded.. that's going to help my week start off perfect (two weeks in a row of OtR Concerts!!)

I think the encores are only on the archived video. The audio/poscast has only the broadcast.

Thanks Stiv either way I'm excited to see this, so soon after seeing a live show this is a great way to help with my urge to see them live again biggrin.gif

Woodsongs Webcast - Tomorrow (06.09) @ 7:00 PMPost Options

just a reminder, if you can't make it to lexington tomorrow for the woodsongs show (and if you were thinking about coming @ the last minute, it's sold out), you can watch a live stream of the show @ 7:00 PM (until 8:15) @ http://www.woodsongs.com/webcast.htm, it will also be available on their archive page (usually) a few hours after the performance.

enjoy.

Great show if a bit subdued. All songs were from Trumpet Child except for one Linford solo bit and Born and Drunkard's Prayer in the encore. It was Karin, Linford, and Jake .. no Mickey tonight. There was definitely something different about it, but it fit the Woodsongs format really well.

Looks like the archives are about 3-4 weeks behind, but this is definitely worth checking out.

yeah, it was a very relaxed, low key set. sort of a nice change of pace. i really enjoyed the different take on "who'm i kiddin'" w/K&L both on acoustic, sort of playing off each other, probably the highlight of the show for me. i love the 4 (and sometimes more) pc. band but this was kind of a reminder of the K&L only shows of the past and a nice little variation from the norm.

i wonder if they wait until it runs on TV before they archive it? the cable broadcast usually seems to be 3-4 weeks behind the live show.

i love that version of "who'm i kiddin'" w/dual acoustics and K&L playing off each other. i'd love to see that version slide into some shows.

yeah, that's too bad about the encores. not so much about the cameos.

i didn't have a very good angle and the lighting was a little low but, i snapped a few pics anyway, the just put up the camera and watched and listened.
