Full Version: Details on the Ohio Show?

So the other thread is a bit of a mess, if you just want to know about the show in Cincy from last night.

Anybody got the full setlist? (I gather that it was _Ohio_, as expected, plus some other stuff?)

Was it Chris Donohue that played with the band, or Kenny Hutson? Both are former VOLers; a VOL List post says it was Kenny, but a post here says it was Chris. The VoL List also claims that Kenny has "joined the band," which seems a little unlikely, but would be awesome if it's true. Any info on that?

And most importantly, when can we expect audio on archive.org? :-)

It was Kenny not Chris
and it was OHIO in order (intermission after side 1 to flip the record)
then My City Was Gone, Look At Miss Ohio & If A Song Could Be President
Latter Days was last on the setlist (2nd encore) but never made it

Awesome. I still like _Ohio_ better than anything that's come since, but I do love the current band, and having Kenny playing with them makes it even better. Very eager to hear this show. Wish I could have made it (and I honestly COULD have if I'd thought about it sooner), though.

Purely my opinion, however I'd say to let something else occupy your mind. It may be a whiiile. smile.gif

Yay for Kenny Hutson performing with Over the Rhine. I love the idea of all these VoL-refugees playing with OtR.

Kenny was amazing on guitar and pedal steel. He is simply an amazing player and it comes so naturally to him. Picture him with clean cut hair....such a departure from VOL days.

"My City Was Gone" had such an amazing groove. I thought it blew the Pretender's version out of the water.
