The RoadThis book by Cormac McCarthy is discussed at length in the books forum. I have just started listening to the audiobook narrated byTom Stechschulte.
So far it's excellent.
I must finish before this film is released.
The cast of actors is phenomenal.

Oh man. Viggo Mortensen is perfect for that role.
If this script is adapted as carefully as the Coen brothers adapted No Country for Old Men, it will probably sweep the Oscars the year it's released.

Okay, I just ordered the book for under $9 on Amazon. I have a copy of No Country For Old Men and have yet to get far in it. I just don't like the writing style. Here's hoping The Road is different, or maybe my mind frame will wrap around it differently. I am a Viggo fan and have like almost everything he's taken on.
So, Trudes, I'm looking forward to this one. Thanks for the heads up.

The book came in today. I'm sitting here at work reading chapter one... shhhhhh. I think I'm gonna like this one.
