OK, my recording of last Friday's CST show is up on the Live Music Archive! Not quite the energy level of Saturday's blowout performance, but a very poignant and bittersweet concert nonetheless (as evidenced by the crowd calling for two encores). I especially enjoyed Motherless Child, Angel Band and Linford's beautiful piano solo on In the Garden.

Bill's cover art can be downloaded from http://kbergend.tripod.com/otr2008-04-25cover.pdf .

This was recorded with two mics in front of the stage mixed with a soundboard feed (many thanks to Juicy, K&L and Mick), and IMO has a very natural presence as a result. PM me for my mailing address if you need to do B&P -- Kent, you're covered!

Enjoy! smile.gif

Thanks for getting that show up so fast--it was a good one--I am sorry I missed that one--I had not heard "Little Blue River..." done before and it was great to be able to hear a live version---it was also great that they did their version of "Angel Band"

That song does go wwwwayyyyy back!! Many people have done that song over the years and the version most well known at present is the one Ralph Stanley did for the "O' Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack and movie----

Thanks for doing it K&L, Mickey and Jake!!!! It was great!!

It was definitely kinda neat they did it with that funny lead in story!

Thanks again for posting the music Keith---

Keith--

I'd LOVE any kind of cover art you could get together for the Saturday show. I'm planning to give it as a gift to the person I went to the show with, and a nice art would make it that much more special! Let me know if you want/need any help and THANKS for offering!

Thanks Bill, looks great! If I'm not mistaken though, Karin never played piano, Linford never played bass and Jake never played guitar Friday night.

This sounds very good, Keith! I think it was a pretty striking decision to open with Motherless Child. Kinda set the tone for the show, but in a good way. I know not everyone is a fan of Little Blue River, but this is a very, very good performance.
