I stumbled on her myspace page a few months ago, girl's got talent. Just stopped by her page again and her new album came out March 24. She's got several songs up from it, and damn, she's good. I think I'm gonna invest in the new album and some off her first EP.

damn, she's good!

I've played a couple of shows with her...she's a really sweet girl. She opened for the chick band I play in last month and we attempted to do "All We Need" and "Forget You" without any real rehearsal...maybe not our greatest musical moment but it was a lot of fun. I think there's Youtube videos of this but I have to check...


She's a really sweet and talented girl though, some really good songs on her record although the production is a bit scattered over the 10 tracks...i wouldn't be surprised to see her open for OTR at some point, honestly.

How cool would it be if you were playing with her when the day comes that she opens for OtR... you could totally say "I shared the stage with Over the Rhine."

Ha. Well, OTR does need a real, full-time guitarist, so hopefully i'd be sharing the stage that way.


It was just a one-off thing, though...she mostly just tours by herself, unless she gets some support behind her at some point. We also may have scarred her for life stumbling through those songs, but it was still fun.

I'll let her know she has a free hookup in Maui if she can get a gig out there.
