Somehow I missed out on "Live from Nowhere Vol. 1" on cd, and would love to get my hands on one. I know that I can download it, but I'm pretty sure this is the only OtR cd I don't have in my collection and that void is killing me. So I'm going to throw this out there to see if any one responds.

I have a couple copies of the IRS release of "Patience", with cover art, that are still sealed. I also have a couple extra copies of "Films for Radio" that were autographed and numbered by Karin and Linford. If anyone has an extra copy of "Live from Nowhere Vol. 1" on cd and wants to make a trade, please PM me. Obviously I'm looking for the original cd with cover art, not a burned copy.

Thanks.
Tony

Good luck to you. This has proven to be one of the most collectible of all the CDs. Unlike some of the other out of print CDs the band has released, this one has a documented pressing number--and is also the most limited of any of the other signed and numbered offerings. It has been seen going for a minimum of $35 on up to almost $70 every time it appears on ebay--which has only been two or three times AFAIK.
Anyway, all of this uneloquent mess, was just an attempt to say, I doubt you will be able to trade a one for one for this. Maybe a 3+ for 1 depending on the traders. smile.gif

Again, good luck.

Okay. I was wondering about that. Thanks for letting me know. Guess I'll just download it. Out of curiosity, how many cds were pressed?

Just 22 CDs were made.

Just kidding. I have no idea. But I *DO* know that I had no idea it was so collectable, and will now be on the lookout for them. I live in the Cincinnati area and still get to record shops from time to time, as well as used joints with good shape items. If I see anything, I will let you know.

3,500 of V1 were made, and 5,000 of V2. and it's very close to gone. not sure what the numbers are for V3.

amazingly i came across used copies of v1 and v2, along with a few other otr cd's at a half price books in st. paul, of all places, last month.
all were marked for only 4.98 and in great shape. all were scooped up of course. my daughter was the lucky recipient of most of these.
so you just gotta do some legwork sometimes, or be at the right place at the right time, like i was.
i'll keep an eye out.

Just be glad that you didn't lend your CDs (V1, V2, Drunkard's Prayer, and one more...) to your exhusband and he somehow managed to lose them ALL.

Tony, if you're still around, here's a chance to get one. It's not cheap ($39 with a day left in the auction).
