Looks as though money isn't everything to Robert Plant. Making music with Alison Krauss and T. Bone is apparently what matters to him right now.
"Robert Plant has turned down an extra £100million (approximately $200 million)fortune to take Led Zeppelin on a world tour.
The rock legend wants to concentrate on his new partnership with US country singer Alison Krauss... spelling the likely end of the famous band."

Saw the show last night with my son and his friend at the Borgata in Atlantic City; what a top-notch group of musicians playing great songs to a truly enthusiastic crowd! There were a number of Zepelin covers, Black Dog, Battle of Evermore, I'm in the Mood (for a Melody). Battle of Evermore was one of the highlights for me, but the whole roll out of show, from song sequencing to musicianship, etc, was spectacular.
My son who went with me originally was not fond at all of what he heard on the CD, but his friend was. A number of people at the show were commenting afterwards at how they liked the CD very much, but that the presentation of these songs live made the CD pale in comparison. The songs were given so much more depth live, as it seems so much has been added to them.
Robert mentioned at the show, as he has in intereviews, that this "project" is evolving. It certainly is evolving to our benefit. What fun it must be for them to be part of this.
Go see them if you can!

We saw them at Red Rocks last night. They were awesome. They did some solo stuff, covers of Zep, T-Bone did some solos, too.
The opener, Sharon Little was very good, I thought...worth investigation.
Worth the $$, plus it was a very beautiful night under the stars up in the red rocks.
