HEIMA! I just bought it...and no one wants to watch it. I hate my friends...

my friends are dying to see it---but i live 400 km away from them. we're kinda in the same boat. take a break. i'll paddle for a while.

finally got around to seeing this last night. a truly amazing film/documentary.
loaded with lots of almost surreal scenery of iceland, it matched the music perfectly.
sigur ros went all over iceland in 2006, giving unannounced free concerts mostly in all these little towns
and some bigger cities. they played at 16 locations, with support of the lovely ladies of amiina.
some places they played were near a dam that was being built, as they played in the middle of a field for the protestors of it,
and in an old fishing factory, a small pub in a small town, and in the middle of a town square. and finishing with an incredible
finale in the middle of reykjavik.
the first disc is the 97 minute documentary, the second includes almost 2 hours of full performances of songs from
each of the 16 sites.
its well worth watching.

Yeah, I finally watched it and it was so amazing. I'm so happy I bought it. I want to watch it every day now.
