If you would like to make a contribution to JG's family please PM me (kay anthony) on here with your e-mail addy and the amount you would like to contribute. I will then send you an invoice from my paypal account for that amount. As suggested by Stacie, I will keep this open until either the end of february or JG's memorial service, whichever comes first.

For everyone's info, I'll be out of the country for the next two weeks and may only have sporadic internet access so if you don't get as fast a response from me as you expect, that'd be why. I'll still be checking my e-mail as frequently as I can though.

For everyone's awareness, I am now back n the country and will now be able to promptly reply to requests to donate to J.G.'s family. I will be leaving this open until teh end of this month (February).

Not at all. Its $173.27 so far from both here and the yahoo list serve. I know of at least two more people wanting to make contributions and are waiting for payday. I'll also post the final amount that we're sending to the Glassfords when I have that.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that I sent the card to Monica and Ian today. I ended up leaving it open longer than I planned because I had a few people contact me who still wanted to give money but needed a bit longer to come up with it. Between the orchard and the list serve we're sending the Glassfords $400.

Wow - fantastic!

Any word on some kind of wake/gathering/let's all lift a glass for JG together? I remember there was talk of trying something in the spring maybe...

Of course, the obvious would be to try to all meet up the next time OTR is playing in the Kent/NE Ohio area (since most of the folks who knew him and are OTR fans would all be around anyway), which hasn't been scheduled as of yet.

Just keep us posted - I know we'll make the time to be there, whether it dovetails with a concert or not.
