OK so your genie-next-door just stopped by to let you know he had an over-run on wishes this month and was wondering if you would take one or two off his hands. What do you choose?

I wish that snow would continue to fall but would conveniently avoid my doorway/sidewalk/driveway.

I wish the guacamole would keep longer without turning yucky colors.

I'd wish for steady, well-paying work.

Then I'd wish for a better house/apartment with a roommate who CLEANS and pays bills on time--or heck, maybe a place all to myself.

But I like Steve Martin's Christmas wish a whole lot, too.

I'd wish for enough energy to get through all our Christmas services as a 36-weeks-pregnant pastor.

i think i would first try for an infinate amount more wishis. ..................and when the genie said no id ask for a whole lot of money.i know thats not very creative but money can do alot.oh and also true love.yeah that would be nice.

You can have all the wishes you want, already... having them granted would be different, so choose your words that you don't have a semantically-oriented Genie.

That said, you should wish for a punctuation fairy. Spaces, and. Caps after periods, etc. People will like you more. This board ain't a cell phone, after all.

Oh, and my wish: solitude, and the strength to demand it.

Squeezing lemon juice over it before refrigerating will minimize the discoloration. Sticking an avocado pit in the guacamole until you serve it also preserves the color.

i think right now i'd just like the writer's strike to be over. soon.

but if that was too much trouble for the genie, i'd opt for world peace. or the invention of delicious brownies made entirely from something healthy, like spinach or all-bran. it's a toss-up.

Page 156 It is for Brownies made with pureed carrots and spinach. Freaking awesome! They test these recipes on kids. I rarely eat healthy and I LOVE THIS COOKBOOK!!!!! If you need the recipe PM me and I will send it.

Hmm I know one you can keep. Its all black including its eyes, she's house broken (mostly.. cage trained at least) and it can jump REALLY high, it also likes to eat wallpaper.... free to good home or crazy sucker...(why my Mom took that thing into her home is beyond me... I'll stick with my well trained but barky Dachshund). For my wish I'd would wish to be all-powerful with complete control over my powers... that should just about cover it... that and to own a credit card with an infinite limit that never has to be paid back by anyone.

I'd wish that it was the beginning of the holidays again, instead of the end of them. Also for a cleaning lady to come to my house twice a week for free, and to win the publisher's clearing house $5,000 a week prize.

I want the temperature to stay somewhere between 65 and 75 degrees with a nice, gentle breeze...forever.

well i would wish for more time so that i can fit in all of the things i want to do in a day/week/year/lifetime. as it is i feel spread way too thin. not enough time to spend with my music...with my real career...with the people i love, etc. i'm sure no one else here feels that way at all.

Hmm, well, the geanie, or Djinn rather, should always be wished back into its bottle, or else it could go on a rampant spree of death and destruction. So yeah, that would be one wish. But if I had another wish or two - well, maybe a million US dollars (net) per year for the rest of my life. My other wish would be for a long life.

my secret wish would be to be a park ranger or something neato like that. but i'm not now, nor will i be (i don't think).

i would wish that ice cream was good for you and you could eat as much as you want and loose weight, not gain.
