Amazing high-energy show from Grace and the boys at the Highline Ballroom in NYC last night. This was the first time seeing Grace Potter for me and my son Chris, and we were both blown away -- the woman is a true rock 'n roll animal! She and her band plunged into the two-hour set with reckless abandon, and they clearly understood how to deal with the aggressively chatty NYC club crowd that pretty much ruined my recording of OtR here last month -- just turn the amps up to 11 and blow them away! This was a pull-out-the-stops head-banging rock show, and Chris and I enjoyed every minute of it from the front of the balcony.
