Have we read any of these?

I never make too much of these lists--especially since the NYT only ever lists books that they've previously reviewed.

BUT... There's some good stuff on here. Personally, I've only read Junot Díaz's The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (which deserves every good thing ever written or spoken about it), Deathly Hallows, and The Maytrees (of course).

These are the listed books that had already made my immediate TBR list:

Travesuras de la niña mala...Mario Vargas Llosa
Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name...Vendela Vida
Out Stealing Horses...Per Patterson
Remainder...Tom McCarthy (already waiting for me up north!)
Los detectives salvajes...Roberto Bolaño
Varieties of Disturbance...Lydia Davis
The Art of Political Murder: Who Killed the Bishop?...Francisco Goldman
Brother, I'm Dying...Edwidge Danticat
Edith Wharton...Hermione Lee
Ralph Ellison...Arnold Rampersad
Two Lives: Gertrude and Alice...Janet Malcolm
