Anyone else planning on being there tonight? I am looking forward to seeing them again at our alma mater. They will be in a newly renovated space, not the cafeteria!
It is only fitting that the first snowflakes are falling in Pittsburgh this morning...

My parents went; my dad has a gig the night of the Kent Stage show so they made sure to catch 'em at Malone. They said it was a short but wonderful concert, and that the venue was perfect. They got there an hour early, chatted with the "regulars" they've come to recognize, and sat in the front row. Maybe you saw them; they're a cute couple in their 60s. :-)
I can't believe they've been to nearly as many shows as I have.
Hope you had fun, Kathleen!

Katherine - I wish I could remember your parents...I've only met them a few times.
Yes, it was a beautiful and intimate show. I am really bad at remembering the set list. Pretty similar to the recent shows. They did throw in Suitcase, which I love. Ohio is sounding so great these days. They also included North Pole man...just a teaser for the Christmas show. Linford played the bass on Orphan Girl and Jake did a really cool solo.
Linford's parents were there. They introduced them. There were great stories involving them and some good Malone memories. I was first introduced to OTR by someone at Malone in the late 90's and we would go see them at Brady's in Kent. Eventually some of us students got them out to Malone. They've been a few times since. They do allow dancing a Malone now...We walked around the campus a bit afterward...good memories.
I talked with Juicy for a few minutes before the show and he was in great spirits - typical Juicy.
I am hoping to go out to Kent, but haven't made a final decision with Taft less than a month away.
On with a great tour!
