I got my tix! It will be interesting to see them at the Cedar this time around. I love the Fine Line--I realize it is smaller, but it has such a great feel to it...

Great show Sunday night, before a packed house up here.
Got to see Steve (Lazy As Sin) and meet Liz, and saw Erik (Ticket to the Show) and Dale too.
Was great to see everyone.
Here's the setlist, and I'll try to post some pics later.
The show had one encore, which consisted of Hush, Prez, and finished with Tom.
Trouble and Latter Days were not played.

Aside from a few sound problems a very Great show smile.gif

the venue was not my favorite... Hard chairs... hard parking... LaTe start...

very strange will call set up angry.gif
in fact it would have been faster to just buy tickets there (unless of course it is a sellout...)

long lines, very Looooong break in between the opener & OTR (determined by the loooong line at the womens bathroom)
the opener, very Odd. ( the "coffee song" was GooD )

well worth the $18.30 per tic I paid cool.gif

I agree it was a great show. Thanks to Kent we had front row seats underneath Linford. It was fun to be able to sit my beer on the subwoofer... A highlight for me was Linford's harmony vocals on "If a Song Could be President." I don't think I'd ever really heard him sing other than on "Jack's Valentine" and Tom. Mickey totally had an "Animal" thing going and, well, I love the Muppets so I thought it was especially cool. I wish they would have played the two they left out--"Trouble" and "Latter Days" were, as Kent pointed out, on the set-list--but it was still wonderful to see them. I think I like the Fine Line better--it has a club feel as opposed the the gym feel of the Cedar Cultureal Center--but it was nice that they played a bigger place so more folks could attend.

As Dale mentioned, the opening act (I believe her name was Ellis) was a little shakey. At the beginning of her set she appeared so nervous it made me uncomfortable. She ended with "The Coffee Song" which maybe explained some things and endeared her to me.

Anyway, overall it was a fun night and it was good to see folks again!

I was in Minneapolis too! Drove down from Canada to see the band and my friend Dave "Juicy" Foreman, their sound engineer.
