I was driving home today with my three year old daughter in the backseat singing along to "On A Roll" when I looked in the rear view mirror and saw her singing right along! I thought I was going to get in a wreck I was laughing so hard to myself (as not to embarrass her or make her stop singing) but there she was, keeping the beat on her carseat with one hand, staring out the window singing "I'm on a roll, oh oh oh" just chillin.

Made me think it was time for her to have her own OtR mix. Any suggestions on song choices from other parents whose kids enjoy OtR? And oh yes, the Poopsmith song is a favorite at our house, so that will definitely make it on there. smile.gif

braedon (my 13m old great nephew) took in his first OtR show today @ live lunch. he had fun, smiled and danced a little, got to go back to the dressing room w/karin & linford before the set and fell asleep during the last song. that's a pretty great afternoon if you're 13m old.

a "no" vote for "changes come" it's a really cool sounding tune - don't see how the "f" word helps anything --- nelson

sorry to disagree, (imho) there's not a better, more descriptive, more impactful word that could have been used in that phrase in that song to sum up what was being said than that one.

kid friendly? nope. not intended to be. impactful? absolutely. which it was intended to be.

Well, I should say! Sounds like a good afternoon for toddler and adult! smile.gif

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Those are great choices.

I also have added Nobody Number One, Etcetera Whatever and Darlin Christmas is Coming... she seems to really like Karin's spoken word singing (whatever you call that...)? It's not really rap, right? Oh now I feel silly.

i misread this at first...

i thought you said he was 13 years old....

to which i thought - "wow, just how hold are you?" and "why would he fall asleep during the show?"

then i re-read the post.

ah, tuesday... wink.gif
