I have never seen them rock like this before. There were moments Linford and Karin seemed to be in a giddy trance watching Jake and Mickey do their thing. This was truely a level of fun I had not seen in the other shows. The others shows were such great experiences but last night they blew the roof off of Blueberry Hill.
Thanks for the fun night Linford, Karin, Jake and Mickey. You all were on a roll.

Even as an "old hand" who loves hearing the OTR classics, I didn't mind a bit as Linford and Karin lingered amongst the new Trumpet Child tracks; each one was a gem! and you're right Kent, the energy was spectacular, and the whole band was amazing.

Over the Rhine, Optimator, a mile from my house. Perfection.
Additionally, I find that a couple TC CD tracks about which I am not wild, I like live.
I really think they've taken performance to a whole nother level in the last 30 months or so.
Oh, and a shout out to Griffin House, or as my wife calls him "Baby Bono."

The first time I heard The Trumpet Child I didn't care that much for Don't Wait for Tom and Who'm I Kiddin But Me. Both of those songs have grown on me from the first time I heard them. I was looking forward to seeing how they would do them live. These songs are so fun live.
