Another amazing sold out show. The two shows were such a treat. They were all having so much fun. It really is a great group that is playing together right now. It is fun to see how they have adapted some songs to create such a variety of styles in one performance. I think they are doing a great job showcasing their versatile and remarkable abilities. There really was something for everyone. I can't imagine how someone who heard them for the first time last night didn't walk away with all their albums. Griffin House opened both nights and played a nice set. A couple of songs he performed were quite good.

I Don't Want to Waste Your Time
Fever
I Want You To Be My Love (They got flowers inviting them to a wedding and asking to play this song.)
Let's Spend the Day In Bed (L called it a recipe for recovery from touring)
Entertaining Thoughts
Nothing Is Innocent (K finished the song in the shower and Mickey had apparently asked for a co-write)
The Trumpet Child (L's trumpet memory story)
Who Am I Kidding But Me(K called it a trashy song she wrote)
Trouble
And Can It Ever Be
Drunkard's Prayer
North Pole Man (complete with Mickey's field drum)
Goodbye Charles
Ohio
BPD (hissy fit style)
Orphan Girl

Encore 1

Stella's Tarantella
If a Song Could Be President (Story of meeting German festival booker)
Don't Wait For Tom

Encore 2

Latter Days

One of the best news of the two nights is that Lindford said they were going to do their Christmas Tour in the West for 2008. Hooray....Start making your plans now. I only have so much room in my house.

Thank you so much for sharing those highlights, Keisha! smile.gif
That Mickey... laugh.gif

An FYI - I don't imagine they'll mind you sharing your clip here on the forum, but technically Karin and Linford don't allow videotaping of their shows without advance permission.

Great job on the flowers and set lists, Christina! smile.gif

Thanks for the info Keith. I feel terrible, I had no idea! But I guess that makes sense. sad.gif

The only place it's posted is here... no youtube or anything. Would you like me to edit the link out?

You shouldn't feel badly at all, you didn't know and you just did something very nice for all the rest of us. Personally I would like you to leave the link up for everyone here to enjoy! But it's not my decision, we'll see what Drew has to say.

Thank you to Christina for the flowers – 17 per vase, one for each recording we’ve released, and one vase for each night in Seattle. Beautiful.

sounds like great couple of nights.

amazing show. (i was able to snag k's set list afterwards - always a pleasure to read her little notes in the margins!) - in my opinion, this was probably the best i've ever seen them. like wine, they get better with age, don't they? smile.gif

plus, it is always a pleasure to meet up with christina and keisha - both of whom are simply wonderful people.

looking forward to the 2008 west coast christmas tour!
