This is a bit late, but last week "The Trumpet Child" was at 37 on the "Top Independent" chart... Way to go Karen and Linford!!!

That's awesome news!

It's weird - I think Ohio debuted at #1 or 2 on the Bubbling Under or whatever chart it was - but that was when they had a national distributor and Virgin/Back Porch.

#37 on their own terms - assuming the word can be spread - is a great achievement on their own.

Keep spreading the word, peeps!

That is great news!

On a side note............I wonder what is the best way of purchasing OTR music?

I normally do the early order thing, I guess this helps with costs and the band may get more "in the pocket" cash, but for TC, I went to my local B&N a bought there. My thought was that my purchase would be "seen" somewhere (as in someone, be it B&N folks, Billboard, etc) would see that buy and get the word out/put them on a Top whatever list.

Thoughts?
