A soundboard recording of OtR's free-wheeling show at The Dame in Lexington last Saturday night can now be streamed or downloaded from the live music archives here. As Karin said while introducing On A Roll, "We're in a really good mood -- so you're either comin' with us, or you're gonna be disappointed!" Despite the sweltering heat inside the packed club, they came back to play two generous encores for the very supportive crowd (yay, us!). Among the show's many highlights are the rockin' coda of Let's Spend the Day in Bed, Linford's awesome extended piano improvisations closing out The Trumpet Child, and a wailing performance by Karin on B.P.D.

not to mention the stunning, heartbreakingly beautiful guitar solo by brad on "drunkard's prayer," very reminiscent of mike timmins solo on "when i go."

Thanks so much for posting this Keith!!! I was sad that I didn't get a chance to record the WRLT show, but, y'know, my girls were busy being born, so I think I had a pretty good excuse. This show sounds awesome.
