I know you guys are all caught up in assessing the new OTR CD, well if you dig rockin' blues, somewhere in the vicinity of Susan Tedeschi or Bonnie Raitt, you gotta check out this CD.

The second song, Stop The Bus, is rocking my world. And then the song Falling Or Flying is some incredibly beautiful forlorn bluesy music.

Sorry, but I am compelled to warn you, that some of the language is rough, especially for you right wingers out there...

If you don't already own this CD, you got to give it a spin also:

I'm with you - one of my favorites these days - I've listened through countless times - Ah Mary, Mr Columbus and, geez that last track Big White Gate ....just terrific. A beautiful, soulful woman behind a B3. Very cool

Wow, what a coincidence -- just last night I listened to an archive recording of her singing Cortez the Killer at a festival in WV last month, it was fantastic!

And she's notoriously taper-friendly! smile.gif Gonna have to look into Grace.

I got Nothing But the Water yesterday, complete with bonus concert DVD. The songwriting isn't quite as mature as on the new one, but Grace's vocals are just as amazing. This woman is some kinda talent, and what a terrific band!

I am so hopelessly in love.

This is where Susan Tedeschi was for me on her first two CDs. And yeah, I had to stop myself from hitting the repeat button on Falling or Flying as I was just getting lost in the sound of Grace's voice. I would love to find some more singers in the Potter/Tedeschi style. KT almost gets there on a couple of songs...to bad she doesn't sing the blues!

I love Grace Potter, as of now.

I just watched her on youtube, but sheesh, she's rockin!

The song is phenomenal, but the smile we are Grace-d with at the end of the song of pure elation and joy--wow! Now that would make a poster!

Grace Potter's collaboration with Joe Satriani is going to be available on DVD. I don't know if anyone else is selling it but here's one site:
