Just ordered copies of both these movies from Family Video today. They should be arriving in my mailbox in about 5 days! Got the 2CD set of PL. Heard Samuel L. Jackson discussing his new one, "Resurrecting the Champ" I think it is on Fresh Air on NPR this afternoon. Sounds pretty good. I'd forgotten about BSM as it didn't play here. It sounds REALLY good. PL I saw in theater when it came out in Jan. and absolutely loved.

So how'de you like Pan's Labyrinth? I've had many an interesting conversation with people regarding the ending of this movie . . .so I'm interested to know what you (and anyone else who saw it) thought about the ending? Did you think it was a happy ending, or was it depressing to you????? Do tell!!!

Finally watched BSM a couple of nights ago. A GREAT film. Wonderfully done. As usual, Sam and Christina had stellar performances. And, I was pleasantly surprised with Justin's as well. But, what REALLY blew me away was the soundtrack. Wow, I'll sure be picking that one up to add to my collection.

See this one if you haven't already.

I knew the movie was going to be good when the soundtrack opens up with the Black Keys. I think Justin is a better actor than musician, which isn't saying much, but he did pretty well.

I absolutely love this movie. I thought it was going to be really dark, but like Hustle & Flow it was surprisingly hopeful. It really is a bit of a fairy tale. A fairy tale with blues, sex and a chained up half naked girl.

Black Snake Moan = good flick. Very well acted, and well written. A bit.... racy, but it ain't like that's a bad thing. wink.gif
