I've been posting on this forum for a while but never introduced myself, which occurred to me might be a bit rude. So here goes.

I'm from the midwest but live out in Los Angeles now, which I love, although I do get a bit envious of those folks living in Cincinnati who seem to get to see OtR play whenever they want! I went to school at UC and knew of the neighborhood Over the Rhine, and heard there was a band called the same, but didn't pay them much attention at the time, being enamored as I was of Cinderella, Bon Jovi, and Poison.

Then about ten years later I came across Ohio, and loving the few free songs that I downloaded from the Paste website, I bought the album and was floored that a double album could be that tight. I was in awe, and I was hooked.

My favorite artists nowadays are OtR, Chris Isaak, Patty Griffin, Better Than Ezra, and the same band that has been my favorite since I was 13 and is still my favorite now: Styx.

I look forward to being a part of this great community of music fans.
