Yesterday was my birthday, and wouldn't you know it... I was sick!
This was the third crappy birthday in a row. I'm getting tired of it. By the upside was that I had nothing to do but sit on the couch and read Deathly Hallows.
And now I'm finished and dying to talk to somebody about it! Arrgh!

I'm game--but don't think we could do it properly without spoilers. (I finished it on Friday night--one more advantage to living in Colombia!)

My copy is sitting on the end table as I type this. I have yet to crack it open. Hoping to get to start it tomorrow. I'm looking forward to reading it, but yet sad to do so. Kinda like when I reread LOTR and get to ROTK.

I finished earlier today. I'm still speechless, but have started breathing again. I feel pretty quiet about things at the moment as I digest this whole experience that I have been so grateful for.

So is there any way we can do a mass private message thing? Or do we need to schedule a Harry Potter discussion group chat time?
I ~really~ don't want to ruin it for the rest of the crowd, but I gotta talk to somebody.
I went for a walk earlier and I kept thinking to myself, "These people don't know! They haven't read the book! Who can I talk to?!"
Then I had a margarita and felt much calmer

Simple. Just make this a *spoiler* thread. Or have this one deleted and begin another, with SPOILERS clearly stated in the thread title.

Starting a
*SPOILER* thread works for me. I'll be there as soon as I finish DH.

yes - start a spolier thread - i just received word mine shipped, so i should be reading it mid-week.

(i was living in canada when i first purchased the books, and wanted to continue with my canadian edition theme, hence my delay in getting the book)

I'm starting chapter 5 but won't be able to do any reading today. I was up 'til 4 reading this morning. It's a really good read so far, and I can't wait to get back to it.
