Hi.
Has this subject come up yet?
Anyway, I thought the new album sounded great. A lot more playful than their recent studio outings. Several songs seem like they would fit right in on the radio. I was really pleasantly surprised by the 4 songs I hadn't heard before. I can't wait for the album.
The chat was fun, but I kept dropping off, so I don't know what I missed. I do seem to recall BigDaddy (Linford) writing that "The Poopsmith Song" would be coming out soon on some children's music compilation that was getting a nationwide release.
Shame Karin couldn't make it, but Magnum filled in for her nicely.

Yeah - it was about time for them to try something different. I think the album counts as a fairly successful experiment.

I thought the chat was pretty good. At first I was annoyed by how haphazard it was, but then the choas was kind of fun. It wasn't very focused on the album, but again, the free flow of it was what made it interesting. It would be interesting to try another format next time.

Playful is the RIGHT word for this album!

The chat really needed to be moderated, with questions submitted on the side, and answered that way... with a second chat room for folks to just interact in if they wanted (I've used to work for a firm that did celebrity chat events)

The new CD sounds somewhat more commerical to me, but I mean that in a good way. Perhaps more accessable to the masses is better? Let's just say I love what I've heard so far and ordered the CD.
Now, if I can just get them to play in Toronto.

Commercial is not always synonymous of bad songs......OTR is that kind of band that won't wimp out on us.
