hello everyone!
just signed on to the board as well. from richmond, virginia but am living in belfast, northern ireland these days. really wish OTR would head this direction at some point soon.
let's see....am i supposed to say my fav OTR song/cd? if so, here goes:
favorite song: "poughkeepsie" (with "she" running a close second)
favorite cd: a tie between "drunkard's prayer" and "ohio"...depends on my mood.
ok, off to read posts and get to know folks! talk to you soon!

you should some time. granted, i'm kind of not liking it right now because i feel cheated out of summer sunshine....winter was cloudy, wet and cold and summer is turning out to be a bit of the same (which even for ireland is unusual)...but generally, it's a nice place to be. just bring a raincoat and sturdy boots.

Welcome, Jayme. I visited your profile and see that we were born exactly 30 years apart. I'd also love to visit Ireland someday. What prompted your move from the states to Belfast?

Welcome Jayme,
Welcome to the Orchard! I realize that this is an Over the Rhine forum, but have you heard of the band Romantica? Their lead singer grew up in Ireland and they have a killer song called "Ophelia." Your post made me think of them...good stuff!
