i think as most of us have been, i've been a little unhappy about the lack of responsibility of many people in this particular area and have been reluctant and hesitant about sharing things here due to that. but, i guess that is unfair to those who do things the right way and just want to share in good music.

so wtf, it's been a while, let's give it another shot. ok, there was a little discussion of RA in the "easy tiger" thread and based on that, i've decided to share some rare and unreleased stuff i have of his. it's mostly demo/rehersal type stuff and there is some pretty amazing alternate takes, unreleased material, covers, duets and live stuff included. i would say it is all A to A+ quality recordings.

there is a lot of music here, 9 12 discs and i think there may be quite a bit of interest in this. if you can't or are not willing to copy and forward these on to the next person in less than 4 or 5 days please do not sign up for this vine early on. let the people that want it and are willing to commit to turning it around quickly go first in order for it to circulate faster. once the demand has dropped off, if you sign up, please turn it around and get it out to the next person in at least a week maximum. and if you are a vine deadbeat, please...just stay the hell away from my vine!

Thanks Bill, I was typing too fast. Yeah its a pretty good deal. I"m not overly fond of rebates, although I've had no problems with Staples in times past. Not sure how Office Depot is though. I'd probably get the 500Gb one from CompUSA if I had the scratch and the need. This was a pretty slow week on electronic/computer deals.

Well, I went to search for the "helluva deal" and it turned out that it is SOLD OUT in the State of Virginia, but they can order it for me, and still give it to me at that price. The only issue being, I won't be receiving the hard drive until next Friday, the 13th (uhm... yuck)

So I am offering to move myself to the end of the queue so that I don't hold up the line.

vivian, wouldn't it be easier to just make copies the discs while you have them, then rip 'em to your (new) hard drive later? just a thought.
