Great job OTR finishing up Orphan Girl! You all took one for the team there. It was a great show none the less. I danced my tush off finally! I have been dying to dance at their show. Got me on the jumbo tron it did. ( last time I get drunk at TOC) NOT! Posting some pics. Sorry about this one Kylie, but it summed up the end of the night.

it was a great night for pics, they were very hard to edit down. i could prob do about that many more (but, i won't). )

and a slightly crumpled and weathered (but dry...now) set list. the show was rained out after "orphan girl." so no "hush now," or "president."

and brad jones, who produced and played on "the trumpet child" sat in for jake (he was at a friend's wedding) on bass and lead guitar.

That was one great show last night.... Their REM cover of "The One I Love" was stunning. (And no, that song is not called "This One Goes Out to The One I Love", as the set list says.)

Great photos as always Bill. Thanks for sharing them with us! It was the perfect evening to a perfect weekend. Rain included. Can't remember the last time I danced in the rain. Wish we all had not scattered to fast. It would have been great to meet up with with everyone. Thank you OTR for sticking it out. I hope and pray that you did not ruin any equipment in the process.

And I agree with everyone - it was a FABULOUS show, lots of energy, everyone was having a good time even with the threatening weather. The violinist from the Cincinnati Symphony was an awesome addition (can't remember his name unfortunately). And Karin singing down the rain was quite a nice touch. (Particularly the timing of the deluge off the top of the stage that looked for all the world like it had taken Mickie out...timed perfectly with the end of Orphan Girl). Very impressive. LOL

Darn it - 'Yote and I even looked around for you and didn't see you!

my apologies for leaving out euphrates/coyote and bruce!! i was water-logged.
funny pictures tho... looks like the sneaky shots from the tabloids. haha.

That's okay - if 'tweren't for you, we wouldn't have had the chance to do Merch at the Lime Spider, which was a blast...so you're forgiven. Of course *everyone* was water-logged. I got a chorus of "awwwww, you guys suck!" when we edged our way past the horde trying to hide from the rain under the eaves of the 5/3 Tower, and I whipped out my work badge and got us inside. LOL

And, 'Yote has started calling me a camera ninja - I like un-posed natural shots. 'Specially the ones people don't know I've taken. LOL Not to mention I've been doing the paparazzi thing for Ellery lately (and sending them the photos since they can't exactly take pictures of themselves). I'm having all SORTS of fun with his camera! Glad you liked them.

That list still seems to be a bit short Kylie. I know I don't get on the Orchard a lot nowadays but ........

I agree it was a GREAT show. Probably my favorite ever! I had some friends with me for the first time and we were all up front dancin and singin. First time i ever got to get up and dance and stuff at a show. And when the rain came it was PERFECT! Loved it!
