For those of you who aren't familiar with my dietary program, I eat no white flours, rice, etc. and no sugars, natural or artificial at all. I have lived this way for coming on 7 years now. One thing that I have missed horribly is yogurt, and try as I might, I CANNOT force down plain yogurt. However, I recently came up with a solution and a new recipe.
Strawberry-Banana Yogurt
1 32-ounce container plain yogurt
3 jars of baby food bananas
8-10 fresh strawberries, diced
2 tsp vanilla
Combine the above ingredients and let sit in refrigerator overnight. Next day - delicious fruited yogurt! I am one happy camper. I'm going to try lemon version and a lemon-blueberry versions next.
