does anyone know how the poll for the book club was done?
i am trying to list a set of options but the options are recognised as a choice.
how do you format a list as a choice.

thank you!

Deb...I'm learning.
Are you trying to make each option a list? Maybe comma separated values would work...as long as the options are on a continuous line. A new line of csv may indicate the next choice.
Maybe a narrative to Drew would help him to help you.

OH, DREW...ASSIST'ANCE S'IL VOUS PLAIT
liberation party
Each choice was placed on a separate line.
<choice one>
<choice two>
<choice three>
et cetera. One must use the enter key.

I hope that helps a bit! smile.gif

Ok. After trying a variety of things, I've decided to come clean and confess ignorance.

I'm trying to post a poll, and using "Enter" isn't working. It isn't recognizing the separate lines as separate options.

What am I doing wrong?

I don't know. "Enter" worked fine for me when I set up the choices for the last book club poll.

Weird. Is there some alternate html code I could put on either side of each option to distinguish them?

Has this problem been resolved? If not, please PM me and let me know what's what.

Thanks, Drew!! cool.gif

You're welcome. Glad we could get it sorted out.

Perhaps you should tell the class what you learned?

Eep!

Yes, Professor Vogel! angeliccat.gif

Yesterday in class I learned that when posting a poll, you must by NO means or under ANY circumstances double-space your listed choices. Hit "Enter" ONLY ONCE between poll choices.

Thank you.
