The first installment is already posted, so go check out the Tour Diary.

Thanks to the band for sharing their thoughts about life on the road!

You've got to be registered and logged in to see the Tour Diary, so if you don't already have an account, go on and register!

Please let me know of any problems or questions about this new feature.

Oh, fun!!

thanks for doing this... it's gonna be neat to keep up with the tour, ...and keep our own wanderlust in check. i mean, make it worse. wink.gif

i also got the "board message" when trying to open the pictures.

Very cool! smile.gif Can't believe I'm gonna (finally) see them play again in less than a week!

I can't access the photos either, even though I'm logged in. I get a "no permission" message.
Jeanne
Count me among those who can't access the pictures, either.

But it's a cool addition to the site, even without them.
Trudes
Love the new feature. I also cannot open or save the pictures.
The first entry is awesome. Karin is a joy.
Thanks everyone.

I got the same message from two different computers, and from two different IP's at different times.

Strange.

I wonder if that anti-oxidant drink is the same product they were pushing at this luncheon I went to a couple weeks ago. It was called Ageless Xtra, and they used the same terminology, "gifting," when they would give people a free three day supply of it in hopes you'd join their MLM campaign.

At any rate, I love when Karin tells a story. Keep 'em coming! smile.gif
drew
Sorry about that!

The inability to download pictures should be fixed now. It was a permissions error and I believe I've got it taken care of.

Can someone verify?
kylie jo
Yep, it works now... they even show up as thumbnails.

Thanks, drew.
Trudes
Thanks Drew...love the 'Goose' laugh.gif
shang
Yep, the images are viewable for me now as well. Fun.

Thanks, Drew! You rock!

And, Karin, it's terrific! Looking forward to written contributions from Linford, and (I hope) Mickey & Jake as well in coming days. (See ya in Cincinnati in two weeks.)

When I click on the links that Karin posted, they download, but then I get this message "There is no software available from Real to support this software." sad.gif

I don't get it.

I don't get it.

Sounds to me like your computer doesn't have software installed that plays AVI files.

Thanks for letting me know that I needed AVI software. I went to the link, downloaded, and selected the box (the default box already checked) to make itunes my primary...(primary default for music I think I recall it saying). Downloaded it, restarted the computer as requested, and the Realplayer message pops up still telling me software is unavailable after I download what Karin posted. huh.gif

i hate real player, in my experience, it sort of dominates every other player. i deleted it from my computer and refuse to use it. haven't missed it either. at all.

Deleted every Real Player file (even though at first the computer gave me a message that some of the files couldn't be deleted), got updates on MediaPlayer, which is apparently on the computer (I'm guessing it's different from AVI), and the link that Karin posted now works great!

Thank you for walking me through this, Bill ~

I'm very bummed that the tour diary stalled out mere hours before the one entry I was really looking forward to reading.
