Something I put together for dinner tonight. I love 1 pot/pan meals!
Shredded Cabbage, Pilaf and Smoked Chops
1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
2 smoked pork chops, deboned and diced
1 package Kashi brand 7 whole grain pilaf, prepared
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp EVOO
Heat a large, non-stick fry pan over medium heat. Add EVOO and when hot add garlic to season oil. Add cabbage, salt, pepper and pepper flakes, cover and cook for 7 minutes. Add pork and pilaf and cook for an additional 7 minutes.
Serve with warm whole grain rolls or biscuits.
