i was 'introduced' to this show a couple of weekends ago. MAN! i thought i was adult enough but certainly not. think i'm still blushing.

some people call it the 'male "L" word -- but i disagree. the writing seems better and they have the professor and the violin player.wink.gif

showtime tv's queer as folk

I got up to Season 3 (I think) following along w/ broadcast schedule back when I had cable.
I dug it. Every now and then I think about renting the remaining seasons but then Buffy, or Firefly, or Prime Suspect gets top queue billing.
Strictly for comparison reasons (only comparison being both shows are about homosexuality) The L Word would be the female QaF, not the other way around.
And I beyond agree about the writing, QaF ran lightspeed circles around L Word. I found the characters and families very endearing and got involved in the interaction and (most of the) situations of everyone.

I had a big ol' crush on Emmet. Heck, pry still do.
Lynne
That Brian was a sexy mother****er.

can't stand arrogant brian.

the professor is freaking hot!!!!!

the blonde artist irritates me.

the violin player is a cutie...arrogant too, but likable.

***edit to say: i love michael's mother but don't like michael.

all of this can change since i've only seen season 2

Whaaaa?? How come no S:1?

Brian's attitude would grate on my nerves quite often but in the appeal category I'm with Lynne, a total sexy mother****er.

I also forgot to mention I had a total girl crush on Michelle Clunie. She was a hottie.

This thread is starting to remind me of stories & characters now... I might have to play rental catch-up sooner than I though.

Right on, Zayne. Now hurry up and rent S:1.

he would be -- maybe in true life -- but the character -- ish!

peeps can be very physically beautiful, but their character make them ugly as sin.

on the other hand, there are people who the world would not consider physically beautiful whom i think are some of the most beautiful people in the world b/c of their characters.

brian's person messes it all up for me.
