I just finished reading this book by Rob Sheffield entitled "Love is a Mix Tape". Its a story about how he met his wife and their relationship and how he coped with her death told through a series of mix tapes and the songs on them. I enjoyed seeing how music infused their lives and brought them together. At times it was hearwrenching reading about his loss, but overall the book was a good read.

I'd recommend this book to Brookd, but I"m sure its not up to his literary standards

my ex read it and loved it, and let me borrow it. unfortunately, i didn't get very far before i had to return it.

I sold it to her ex... it's my staff rec at work currently. The accessibility and poignancy make it haunting, the music makes it sweet and nostalgic. If you've ever had personal tragedy or like music, you should read it.
pretty much sums up everybody I know.
