Does anyone know if there is an archived list of tour dates for OtR, going back many years? I want to see if/how often they've been to Saint Louis.

(Because I'm moving there).

jeffery holland has set up a great historical site HERE, goes back pretty much to the beginning (i think it has been pointed out that a handful of very early shows may be missing). but, it should give you everything you need.

Thanks, Biv. I knew that existed but couldn't for the life of me remember where it was.

The answer seems to be "not any more," or at least not in the last 3.5 years.

I take it back; I missed one.

The answer seems to be "not much," i.e, once in the last 3.5 years.

Thanks for responding, Bill! I'm actually missing A LOT of shows from 1995 and before, so anyone that wants to contribute is more than welcome to PM me. I've been a total slack-butt so far this year and haven't set up a page for 2007, but it's coming.

I've been working with another band to set up a more interactive tour database site for them and once it's done and tested, I'm hoping to create a similar one for Over the Rhine and move all the existing content on my current site over to it. That way, you, the people attending the concerts, can submit the info rather than me plagiarizing it and copy and pasting it into the site.... it becomes too much for me on occasion to keep up.

Sounds awesome Jeff.

Thanks for doing that.

You missed another one too
6/24/2005 - Blueberry Hill, University City, MO
Not sure why its listed as University City but its the same place as all the others. OtR have pretty much been regulars here in St. Louis since 2000. They didn't seem to tour much in 04 so I guess we were skipped then. So far there are no dates this year but I'm hoping that changes.

It's listed as University City because it's actually located in University City. All of the listings below except for the 1996 show should all be changed to University City, MO. When walking down the Loop toward Skinker Blvd, you'll see a statue telling you Welcome To St. Louis, and a sign saying Your Leaving University City.

Thanks.

Euphrates and I are looking at making a collage of a bunch of OTR memorabilia- ticket stubs, flyers, set lists, on some OTR posters. I'll keep an eye out for dates from the 'round then.

You do a great job with the site, man.

You also have the old listserve archived, correct?

Thanks! I do not have the listserve archived, but I'm pretty sure Drew does. I'm reasonably certain I've gleaned the listserve clean for tour dates though.

I've been a total slack-ass for 2007 shows. I'm going to use fathering twin infant girls as an excuse. Hopefully, I'll be able to enter the info in over Christmas break.

meh...it's all St. Louis. The City is full of little areas that go by other names, but it is mostly all considered St. Louis. I have never heard anyone reffer to U-city as a seperate city; it is spoken of more as a neighborhood would be.

Oh that's not an excuse, that's an actual reason, man.

Yes, people from outside the area just lump all the suburbs together as "St. Louis", but since Blueberry Hill is actually located in the city of University City, it is not in St. Louis.
