somebody had to do it, right...?

"my love is a fever" has probably been played live as much or more than any song in OtR's repertoire and one of my favorite things about it is how it continues to evolve. they still seem to enjoy playing and reinventing it as much as we enjoy hearing it.

earlier i was looking for one to add to a playlist and noticed all the different times i had this song downloaded on my ipod, i listened to a few and noticed how different it sounded each time, it can be; folkie, sometimes always sexy, other times jazzy and/or funky, and it can rock with the best of 'em, i played around and picked several good versions and styles from over the years. enjoy.



it was one song too long for a single disc, so rather than "cut" one of the above (ok, now i actually have now added a 16th cut, an unreleaseed track from a radio broadcast), i also added a little "bonus" material to help fill out a second disc. it's another often played song that has continued to evolve and stay fun, rarely sounds the same twice...
