Anyone else watching this on the Sundance Channel. I'm getting it off of itunes. The first episode is free!! Anyway, it's the story of Jay Bakker, the son of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. He has a church in Atlanta called Revolutions, that meets in a bar. Just curious if any one has any reaction to it. I'm finding it to be really interesting. Anyone read his book, "Son of a Preacher Man?"

I have not read anything by him, but I did hear him speak a few years ago. Seemed like he was a pretty good guy, although it is always tough to tell when you only hear people speak.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the episodes and see what he is really all about and more stuff on the actual church he is a part of. Should be interesting and maybe get some people talking about what church can (should) be all about. I don't know what he or the church Revolution is all about, but it sounds like they are meeting people where they are. A big thing that the institutional church is often missing. Anyway, it should get people talking anyway.
