Hello All!

I've been reading this board for probably well over a year, and with the excitement surrounding the upcoming Christmas tour, I decided it was finally time to introduce myself. I haven't seen an OtR concert since last Christmas, and excitement is mounting as friends and I plan for a trip to the Taft and St. Elizabeth's. I wanted to join the like-minded "buzz" in the Orchard!

A little about me: I'm a student-- English nerd. Words are my thing, in books or music. Aside from Over the Rhine, I'm into: Bruce Cockburn, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Jan Krist, Tom Waits, Sam Phillips, Emmylou Harris, Eric Bibb . . . to name a few. Books are harder to list off, but I've been eyeing the "what are you in the process of reading" thread with great interest, so maybe I'll post a bit there.

if you are coming to taft, take a look HERE. feel free to join us. it's a lot of fun, a good chance to meet some crazy people. and have some decently priced good food too.

nice choice of artists, you should fit in quite well around here.

A heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome! Thanks especially for the invitations to the pre-Taft dinner. It sounds like a lot of fun, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it. Wishing lots of fun to those who do go, though!
