Full Version: Kim Taylor @ Tall Stacks 10/5/06 DVD

This is Kim's set from Tall Stacks. Same setlist as MidPoint, but I think this was at least as good a performance and probably better in some respects. I didn't get the first minute and half or so of Turpentine, unfortunately, but the video came out quite nicely. Definitely looks better than the MidPoint show. The audio was, like MidPoint, from a mono sbd source.

I can't thank you enough for all the great stuff you record and share with us, Shawn!
I love the way she did Turpentine. even though the song is truncated it's still so powerful.

You're very welcome, of course! Yeah--it's too bad I didn't get all of Turpentine. She started a little over five minutes before the published start time, not sure why. But with the sbd very far removed from my camcorder, plus the rain and extra hassle dealing with that and trying to keep the camera dry, I couldn't get it all together quite fast enough. Ah well--it happens. You'll have to check out the effects with her name and the venue info on the menu. Kinda cheesey, but I wanted something a little different.

This arrived just as I was leaving for my Newport/Chicago Cowboy Junkies adventure. I'll try to get it out to you tomorrow, Marianne.

I was going through my shelf of cds and found the master of this dvd and thought I'd bump this thread up.
