--DVD available in a separate vine--

Thanks to Brian O'D for encouraging me to check her out and to make this recording, specifically. Thanks to Jayne for letting me record!

Jayne is Dayton-based and has become quite well-known in the area, and has received national and international notice with her winning the Pop category in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition (for Twisted Ballerina). Quite a range in her material from rock to pop to singer-songwriter. The band is very goodand I'm pretty many of you will enjoy this material.

I will second that... she is very good. She also is about to release her first official live album, so check that out if you like her stuff.

She had a song on a local compilation called "Dayton After Dark" in 2004.
Oh yeah, i was the producer of that album. wink.gif

I think the live album is out already, unless there's a new one in the works.

I checked out the Dayton After Dark link--kinda freaked me out a bit, as I taught Amy Hedges in my Jazz History course last spring. I had no idea . . .
