Throwing noodles at the wall.
Tasty mostly-homemade tomato sauce (which, despite containing meat, hasn't killed anybody yet! I am PROUD!).
WinAmp getting slightly less pissy. (It will now let me play songs from the OtR, singles, and Luke folders.)
Last night's walk with Lisa.
FINALLY finding the 24-hour pastry shop which sells the most delicious so-called cheese bagels in existence.
Discovering new favorite used bookstores.
Tweety Bird spinning in a window display atop an old LP.
Deep realizations.
Hugs.
Dancing.
People taking care of me in those moments when I can't do it myself.
Beauty in all its forms.
Music.
Tubes of glitter and attractive cover art illuminated by a single candle.
Receiving an MP3 of my friend's wife playing a song from the Amélie soundtrack.
My sister handing me The Tempest and having me read:
Be not afeard. The isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometimes voices
That, if I then had waked after long sleep,
Will make me sleep again; and then, in dreaming,
The clouds methought would open, and show riches
Ready to drop upon me, that when I waked
I cried to dream again

WOO HOO!! My new favorite thing is:
Spontaneously buying a plane ticket to Michigan for a 48-hour visit to surprise my sister at her senior art show, finding out that said visit coincides with the OtR concert at The Ark, and then buying tickets--after a year and a half of nearly unbearable OtR concert drought spawned by moving out west.
And then venturing into the orchard to find out a new album is coming out in just a few months!
Sweet mercy. I'm so happy, I could just run out to the street and kiss perfect strangers.
