- going to bed at 9:23 pm on a Friday...and not setting my alarm even though I should wake up at a somewhat reasonable hour to start studying for next week's big exam...
- adventures turning out just fine in the end
- the circustance that I was sober and therefore able to calm down and direct hysteric drunk people as our dingy was tossed like a beach ball among the waves and we were in danger of being smashed by the huge catamaran as it fell from the top of the swells...
- the almost inconceivable wonder that my foot is still fully attached to the rest of my body (and wholly unscathed) after it was dangled (in circumstances largely beyond my own control) in what seemed to be the very vicinity of the dingy propeller while I myself was dangling from the slippery sides of an uncontrollable catamaran.

Happiness is pedaling home from the South Shore and suddenly coming up on Riverside, looking across the St-Laurent at Montreal with a single smoldering line of red sunset highlighting the east side. Elegant columns of poplars punctuated the glittering line of lesser buildings as I reveled in the larger ones by name: the Aldred Building (all art deco facades and dramatic lighting), city hall, the Notre-Dame Basilica, the Place Desjardins towers, and on, and on.... I had to yell "city pretty! Lights lights lights!" My sister understood.

Other happy things:
conversations about music and faith
having new glasses!
nice people
free lunches
chocolate
having a soup pot! (ValueVillage rocks my world.)
Skillet's
Collide CD (Theistic teen angst stuff... but they do it oh-so-well.)
my sister having the loan of a new bike for the week
the words "this is this close to a magic carpet"
getting my purple body glitter back
happy music
playing guitar
dinner: megathick homemade soup (prepared from scratch by
me - go me!), fresh bread, real butter, and sliced cheese. Mmmmmm.... A feast! (You've gotta binge sometimes before going back to Dollarama bread and NoName margarine.)

Well, first you get on a plane to Portland. From the airport you head down airport away to 82nd, turn right, go about three miles south till you hit Stark, make another right, and go down to 49th ave. It's the white building on your left.
Well, you asked!!!

I almost protested a paper grade I got once, because the paper was terrible and I still got a B. It was ridiculous. I made up for it with my senior paper, though (I am a living legend).
In no particular order:
- Gyros (and I'm proud to be 1/8 Greek!)

- That weird plant that's a cross between broccoli and cauliflower. I don't eat it, but I'm comforted by the fact that it exists.
- Crayons
- Harry Potter (I'm older than 12, I swear!)
- Coffee
- The Super Nintendo Entertainment System
- Soren Kierkegaard

- Bass guitars
