new days.
Every day that we wake is another chance to go out in the world and be. That's all life really requires, and that's what I love about life. This day was made as a gift for me, and I'm blessed to have been fortunate enough to receive it. Today is a new day.
People who hold such optimism.
Oh, and also the fact that every job i have applied for this week has at least sent some kind of acknowledgement saying "We got your resume and it's under revue and good luck."

I made a convert!! Soooo glad you liked it. I think they're seriously second only to U2 on the list of best concerts I've ever seen. Completely unreal.

Ah yes, there's one at every show. I don't know where these people come from, but there's always one. And by default, they have absolutely no idea how to talk to girls.

It's kinda funny to watch as an innocent bystander though. There was this one guy at the Chicago Marillion show who was incessantly talking to this one girl, who was clearly trying to escape the situation...poor thing.
But I'm glad you had fun.

(and that you got the third encore...how awesome is that?)

My roommate and I just bought one of our favorite professors a pint of Guinness. We each had one ourselves, and mine's just now starting to get to me. Class at 3:30's gonna be fun!

Nah, it's not that bad. But I finished it twenty minutes ago, and I'm only now getting a buzz, so that was kind of unexpected. In a pleasant, gosh-I-feel-relaxed sort of way.

I wasn't plowed! Just unexpectedly relaxed!

Don't worry, Pop; I had a strong cup of tea and sobered up pretty quickly.
I just returned from a free dinner sponsored by the English department. I've been talking about literature (including Anne Lamott, no less) all afternoon. Today has been an excellent day for my psyche.

I really like it myself, but it also makes Jamaican and Thai food seem mild by comparison.
