Driving around the campus with the windows down and the sun roof open, looking for a parking space in my wifes Honda during the morning rush while I gesticulate wildly and mouth the words to Nat King Cole singing L-O-V-E at killer volume on the sound system (several times).

Last night, I went into the bathroom with a flashlight to take a shower in the dark with cold water. I got out my washcloth and was basically spongebathing when all of a sudden, the water starting getting warmer ... and warmer ... and warmer ... until finally, it was hot! I got to wash my hair and everything!
And later, I was laying in bed, annoyed that my room was hot and I didn't have light to read, and suddenly I was so grateful to have a bed to lay in, and a roof that wasn't leaking, and pillows and comforters and all manner of electrical appliances that would be up and running again in a day or so. I love remembering to be grateful.

My very first School Open House! Gees more than 12 years to go? My diva asked me not to tell her teacher the story of how small she was when she was born, I used to bath her in the kitchen sink! I told her that is for her first date! Wow the rapid growth of children just makes me sad,
soon I will be locked out of the room, left behind at the mall, and well I hope I still see her at the dinner table! Guess building tents and shadow puppet days are numbered for the diva and I.

Of course.

Keith, I've only seen him a whopping four times, and probably won't see him again for a couple months at the very least. I don't really think it's gonna go anywhere.
But it's still nice to get a phone call every now and then.

There was a really cute girl working at the art museum (wearing a leopard-print skirt and black boots, no less) and I got to talk to her for quite some time as we discussed our interpretations of a large, contemporary art painting. Seriously, that's hot. I'm not going to do anything like call her (she didn't really seem to have any social skills when we weren't talking about art) or ask her out or even ask for her name (okay, I didn't really have any social skills when we weren't talking about art, either), but it made me happy.
Also, while we were there, one of the artists just happened to show up. He had quite a few pieces on display and I had a few questions about them, so I actually got to ask the artist (in front of the cute girl that worked there, of course).
Art museums are sexy.

New favorite thing:
some random group of CEGEP students in my hometown went door-to-door on Tuesday, offering to do chores for people. They washed every single dish in my parents' house. I love contemplating the thought process that led to this. "Hey, I'm bored. What can we do? I know! Let's do good deeds!!" (You should SEE the mountains of dishes Mom and Dad's counter accumulates....)
