This guy Chris who works at the laptop repair shop brought his Yorkshire Terrier to work today. The dog is five pounds, and his name is Uber. Getting to pet him completely brightened my day.

Oh, and Campus Safety guy is back. Even if he's married by now.

Late night bicycle commutes from work. Trying to pray for someone and ride my bicycle while the horizon dances with distant lightning in green and purple. The herbal smell of forests and meadows on sultry, late-summer nights. The literally 'blind passion' of lovers out for a walk on the river bikeway on a dark, hot night. Opening the fridge after a twenty mile sprint and discovering a fresh six pack. The first swallow of dark amber ale while I am drenched in sweat.

Getting to go back to the gym.

The next time you get to Calgary, check out Mimi Mozarts act... I'm sure you'll add it to your favorite things. I hope she is still performing.... but probably not. She'd be awfully old for a stripper by now. Maybe she just sings and plays her violin and leaves her clothes on. Mimi was amazing at everything she did (and she did a lot ).

The satisfaction in knowing that fink wa not even worth my time to begin with. The fact that the fink is trying to self publish, because they are obviously not able to get published any other way.
I can be a petty, petty man.

when i'm having a bad-ish day, and a friend calls and says... "i'm having a rough day... i need to talk". it feels so much better to listen and give advice rather than sit and think about my problems.

My CD / MP3 player working again. I guess it just needed to dry out, lol.

Oh, and this green slimey stuff my dad got mw from the beach. It makes, uhhh, rude noises. I can't wait to take that on the beah retreat in a couple weeks.
