This is the thread for the DVDs only. There is a separate thread for the audio CDs that also includes links to download the OtR and Kim Taylor audio. If you just want the audio, you shouldn't be in this DVD thread.

I decided to separate the audio and DVD vines this time, as the OtR and Kim Taylor portions are available to be downloaded, and not everyone may want/need the audio vine (and vice-versa if you aren't interested in the DVDs). So, hopefully this will keep the lists shorter for both.

OK kids, it's all done, finally. This is the complete show from the 05 Taft show. Kim Taylor and Amy Rigby comprise one disc and the OtR portion runs to two discs, so this package will contain 3 discs altogether. The video was encoded at near the maximum bit rate, and the audio was left in LPCM (my anti-compression bias rears its head again). It turned out pretty well, I think, but note the following:

I sat in the front row of the balcony, but at the very end of the row, stage right. While everyone is visible, for Linford, you're mostly seeing his back since he played piano for most of the show.

Since they attempted to make a multitrack recording, I didn't have access to the sbd that night, so the audio is just from my mics that were set up next to the camera. There is still some stereo image, and the sound is pretty decent considering how off-center I was, but it's not quite as nice as having a good soundboard.
