well, i just made it for him tonight as a surprise (plus, it was a reason to get me out of the house and out to the grocery store while he watched the nba draft...blah!), and it's super easy and yummy!
Puppy Chow (do NOT feed to dogs!)
9 cups Chex (any kind)
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 and 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Place Chex in a large bowl.
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter together, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour over Chex and stir until covered.
Place half of the powdered sugar in a large plastic bag, spoon Chex mixture into bag, and then top with the rest of the powdered sugar -- mix thoroughly.
Spread out on wax paper to cool.
