That's what's outside my windows right now. I'm jennifer8, in Metrowest Boston, browsing The Orchard with a bit of difficulty navigating. As always. Mine is an Animal Kingdom; I'm a Dog Groomer who lives with 2 Brittanys, a Tuxedo Cat, and a Husband. I read a lot, currently Robert B. Parker's latest Sunny Randall as well as Swann's Way and The Future of Ice. I'm afraid of the dark, moths, and death. I talk too much, say too much, regret too much. I love big and furiously and am generally clueless. Be patient with me!

Glad to have you here, Jennifer! I have a few friends in the Boston area, although none of them are active here in the orchard.
Just speak up if you have questions about the forum, we does try to be helpful!

Merci! Lifelong Fling was the request attached to the rose at the 6/12 Boston show. Very classy.

It just occurred to me I may have inadvertantly insulted my friend the ultimate Hem fan, lol. Sorry Christina!

Welcome to the Orchard Jennifer!
Thanks! Lovely photos. One of my dogs, Sadie Mae, is originally from Paducah (sp?). Near you? She has Cindy Brady curls cascading down her butt. Your day is now complete with that knowledge.

Actually, my husband is one of the dogs. Part of the pack. I'm the Alpha.

You're all very helpful and sweet, and I do have a question. How do I make the Newbie thing go away?

Why, thank you kindly, bivester. I read the thread and it sounds like lots of wonderful things will happen. Like fireflies and frolicking dogs (a reference to the 6/12 Boston show, which still has me swooning).
