Hello all-
Don't know what you really would want to know about me, but I'll give you a few bits.
-I live in a suburb of Kansas City---though it's close enough to the heart of the city that I can at least feel a pulse.
-I work at a church full time, and I have a part time job shining shoes at a bank
-But if I had my druthers, I'd spend all of my time traveling. My goal is to make it to six of the seven continents. I once saw a presentation on Antarctica. I've also seen the color white...seems to me to be pretty much the same thing
-If I were to ever go to a party where colors were invited, I'd want to talk to orange the most
-I've been an OTR fan since I saw them with Vigilantes of Love (When I have fantasies of being the coolest girl in the world, they closely resemble Karen)
-Oh, and I chose DJDelicious due to my weakness for trance music...if I were to ever learn how to spin, I think I might go by that name.
I'm glad to hang out with you all. Thanks for letting me play.

Hey, welcome, DJ D! Pull up a chair. Your reasons for avoiding Antarctica seem quite wise. And I think you
should learn how to spin--you'd be well on your way to actually being the coolest girl in the world. Plus we need someone to DJ our dance parties here.
glad to meet you.

Hi DJD from KC....
Did you have plans to go to the OTR KC show that got PP'd last fall?
I think it was the first casualty....
Welcome to the Orchard.
Nice to meet ya.

For this line alone, I insist you set up your room in the bomb shelter right now.

What a great way of phrasing your feelings about the color orange! You rock!

Glad to have you with us DJD! I spent a weekend in Overland Park once, that's about the extent of my experience with Kansas.
You are aware that Orange is Red and Yellow's daughter, right?

Delicious is a state of mind that comes horrifically (or is it hysterically) close to a vision of my inner voice.
Because Janelle has become the gatekeeper of all things
delicious (and something intuitive tells me she will find a personal attachment to this) it seems righteous to leave it here.
Keith... just take the time to let
this load and watch it ... ALONE!

wow, scotty! did you find any rust on this thing when you dug it out?
i appreciate the post, and please know that this thread is a secure vault for any delicious item you may wish to relinquish. i don't have time to watch just now, but i can't wait to see it. i very much look forward to becoming personally attached.

Pondering the particulars of our dinner conversation at Arnolds, I was struck by the assertions that we are a very tiny island in a big stream when it comes to our obsession with all things OTR.
OTR=Delicious?

well, it's about time. sheesh! i never said anything, but i've been terribly offended this entire time. i've felt so....so.....so.....(dramatic pause).....so very neglected...not to mention, parched.
hopefully i'll start to feel comfortable around here, now that i have my cider. i may even begin posting once in a while.
no, thanks for the cider, dear. it definitely belongs in this thread, as it is most delicious.

I'm thinking Karen is more comfortable with me doing the trips than she would be with a pants suit. I'm
real tempted to use that "nah nah" finger thing while listening to my next inane conversation, though.
Thanks Scotty!
